HOW TO: Egg in a Nest


Ingredients:

2 slices of bread 1 fresh egg Butter

Recipe:

1. Stack the 2 slices of bread and cut into any shape you prefer (triangles and circles are the best); don't throw the cut outs! 2. Heat up your pan and add a teaspoon of butter 3. Toast one bread till golden brown or crispy and put it aside 4. Add another teaspoon of butter and toast the second slice. 5. When flipping to the other side, place the first slice on top of the second; and add about less than half a teaspoon of butter to the centre of the bread. 6. Add your fresh egg (crack it into a bowl first to prevent the breaking) 7. Reduce to small heat and cover it with a transparent lid 8. Cook it for about 3-5 minutes; check it every now and then so that your bread won't burn 9. Once the egg white is cooked, you are done! 10. Season it with salt and pepper or any other additional seasonings; like Cayenne or Cajun powder 11. Enjoy the goodness!
